Our community

We aim to build a community of conscious consumers who buy less but choose higher quality, make thoughtful decisions, and ensure their purchases last. Through our platform, we will educate the public on sustainability and ethical fashion, helping to shift the mindset around consumption. It might seem counterintuitive for a clothing brand, but we will actively encourage our customers to reduce, reuse, and recycle before making new purchases. Additionally, we will provide guidance on recognizing quality, caring for garments, and the benefits of thoughtful buying.

At Magbago, we are deeply committed to offering our customers natural, high-quality materials that allow their skin to breathe, while wearing functional and stylish clothing. We believe that by combining innovation and sustainability, Magbago aspires to be a pioneer of responsible fashion in Bosnia and Herzegovina, inspiring others to follow this path.

Our role in the change

With growing awareness of the harmful effects of traditional consumption, we are increasingly seeking solutions based on reducing waste, energy consumption, and resource use. While large industries are slowly searching for sustainable solutions, they often fail to address core issues and adequately respond to environmental challenges.

Instead of waiting for systemic changes, we can take concrete steps ourselves. As individuals, we have the power to change our consumption habits and choose products made from renewable resources or waste materials. Deciding to purchase locally made clothing from 100% biological and renewable materials, or even making certain products ourselves, can lead to significant changes.

The endless offer of industrially produced goods often casts us as mere consumers, where buying from others is seen as the only option. This model distances us from considering how products are made and their impact on the planet.

When we create things with our own hands, we return to a time before industrialization, globalization, and relentless consumption. Our habits over the past century have been shaped by faith in technology and a desire for ‘convenience,’ but this model doesn’t always recognize the negative aspects of consumption or the real benefits of making things ourselves.

Being independent from industry and self-sufficient is truly disruptive, and your choice to support responsibile production and make changes in your habits can have a significant impact on the world we live in.
